Adeniyi A. Akinlusi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in banking, strategy, corporate transformation, and leadership. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Ilorin and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Lagos. His professional qualifications include being a Fellow of several prestigious institutes, such as the Institute of Public Accountants (FIPA) Australia, the Institute of Financial Accountants (FFA) United Kingdom, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), and many others.

Akinlusi's education is further enhanced by his alumni status from top international business schools including Harvard Business School, Institute of Management Development in Switzerland, Lagos Business School, and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He has also undergone leadership training at Wharton Business School, I.E.S.E Business School in Spain, and London Management Centre.

With over 3 decades of work experience, Akinlusi has made significant strides in the banking sector. He played a pivotal role in transforming Partnership Savings & Loans Limited into Intercontinental Homes Savings & Loans Plc, and later into TrustBond Mortgage Bank Plc following a Management Buy Out (MBO). After serving as Chief Executive for 13 years, he facilitated a merger with First Mortgages Ltd to form FirstTrust Mortgage Bank Plc, where he now serves as a Non-Executive Director.

Akinlusi's influence extends beyond banking; he is a director at the Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company, Mortgage Warehouse Funding Limited, and Greenstem Group. His contributions to the industry have been recognized through various leadership positions, including President of the Mortgage Banking Association of Nigeria (MBAN) and membership in the Governing Council of the Institute of Directors (IOD).
